Visit Vatican, see and shake hands with The Holy Pope is my biggest dream. Oh, lucky me! My dream was such in front of me. I won a quiz from Scoot airlines in April 2019. And you now.... The prize was a free return ticket to any destination on scoot operated flights. Of course I chose Europe route, to Athens or Berlin.
But my opportunity suddenly disappeared. I spent a lot of money, time and energy just to get a Schengen visa. Sadly, i had to accept a bad fact. Italy embassy rejected my application. It was so poor! The reasons of visa rejection can be read here. If you are Indonesian, you can also read this.
I really wanted to not give up, but I realized not all I want I get. Sometimes giving up is necessary, it is not to lose but to prepare to get better. Then i decided to reroute the trip to Taiwan. I think it was not bad. Taiwan has many destinations to feel Europe without go to Europe.

I could experience the beautiful architecture of Hungarian Parliament Building in Chimei Museum, Tainan. Chimei's bridge that brings me to the main building, made me feel like in Rome. The statues of god and goddess found on the bridge can not be more similar to the St Angelo Bridge.
Not only Greece, but also Taiwan has the changing of guards ceremony. CKS memorial hall in Taipei offers it, so I could feel the ambience of Athens in Formosa Country. Visited Europe of the east was such a stimulation before head to the real Europe.

So pals.. if you have a dream to visit Europe but have some challenges that make your dream have not been real yet, please do not give up!! Fake it till you make it!! You must have an optimistic mindset and keep dreaming till it happen.
